Generous size

I bought this item to hold my coffee. I also bought the large spice jar to hold my tea. This canister is rather large even though it is supposed to be small. The description says it holds two and half quarts–that’s 80 ounces. It will probably hold five pounds of sugar. I like the fact that unlike my old canisters, it does not have a ridged lip which would keep that last bit of content from coming out. My only complaint is that it does not have a good seal. The rubber gasket on the lid is not wide enough for this jar, preventing the lid to fit as tightly as possible on the canister. The color does not match my Le Creuset utensil holders which are white. This canister is an off-white color, more of an almond.
